Teri believed that if she could develop an after-school program that would activate empathy, encourage empowerment and plant positivity in young people, then maybe she could affect real change. Her vision was born as SPARKPositivity and is centered on developing those attributes to help youth all over the world, write their own destiny.

Don’t call her a do-gooder. Teri just wants to quietly do something to improve a situation, rather than just discuss something. But, it’s not without its challenges. Funding a start-up, even one with such a positive mission can be tough. She and her team has laid the foundation for long-term success by creating solid, successful programs.
