Mark O'Renick is a "can-do" guy. Sure, he has good, often inspired ideas. But more importantly, he sees the beauty and the necessity of the execution. He's practiced this careful balance in the ad agency business for more than 20 years.

Now, he's taken this to the next level with the founding of "Conquer for Good" - an initiative that promotes awareness, education and connectivity, through talks and interaction with leaders working to build an ecosystem of social innovation and purpose-driven business. Sounds a little high-minded, but doesn't anything that attempts to create change?

Mark sat down with What's It Like to discuss his ideas of what a life with purpose, looks like. He talked about the intersection of doing something you love, with something that the world needs and is willing to pay you for, as the sweet spot of life's purpose.

He also believes that businesses need a purpose, just like the individuals who work there. What your business says in the world, is likely to determine your success as much as the product and service offering you sell. Does your business have a clearly stated purpose? Would your employees be able to share that ideal with a customer? What's keeping you from defining your purpose? These are all questions that Mark and his agency Will & Grail, would have you consider as we go forward into the new year.
